Waste oils are rather hazardous waste, because in the natural environment they decompose very poorly and slowly, polluting everything around them. Most of these petroleum products are a source of pollution of the atmosphere, our water resources and soil. To imagine the extent of the harm, it is enough to tell that: one liter of waste oil can contaminate a thousand liters of water! Therefore, an oil regeneration plant is indispensable equipment for environmental protection during the processing and disposal of waste oil.
When accumulated in the environment, waste oils disrupt the conservation of the population of mammals, birds, and fish, and also have a harmful effect on human health.
All this is far from an unreasonable panic, as already today there is evidence confirming the relationship of lung cancer with used oils to people whose work is somehow related to this type of waste.
TRANSFORMER RELIABILITY
On the other hand, it is no secret that most of the power transformers currently in operation are old. For a long time, they were not replaced, which is primarily due to a significant increase in the cost of equipment. Trends in lowering the prices of power transformers are not yet traced, so it is very urgent to extend the life of equipment that is already in operation.
The duration of reliable and efficient operation of the transformer primarily depends on the state of the magnetic circuit and cellulose insulation. If there are irreversible defects in them, the life of the electrical equipment is significantly reduced. However, if the duration of operation of the magnetic circuit is almost unlimited, then cellulose insulation is subject to periodic aging. In this regard, we can conclude that the service life of the entire transformer primarily depends on the state of its insulation.
In general, the aging process is quite long, but cellulose insulation works under rather severe conditions that accelerate it. Adverse factors include heating, exposure to moisture, oxygen, as well as aging products that can accumulate in cellulose insulation. Their concentration in cellulose can be significantly greater than in the oil itself. Therefore, the task of extending the life of the transformer can be reduced to the purification of cellulose.
Similarly, the regeneration of transformer oil can be understood not only as the predominant treatment of the electrical insulation product itself, but also as the cleaning of cellulose insulation. By removing impurities and moisture, we exclude the possibility of their subsequent contact with oil.
In conditions of a significant increase in the prices of petroleum products, which also include transformer oil, it is very important to bring the quality characteristics of the spent material to the level of fresh dielectric liquids.
The oil regeneration plant in this regard has several significant advantages, since its method is the most efficient and is very different from simple filtration and other processing methods.
METHODS FOR DISPOSAL OF WASTE OIL
Based on the foregoing, the problem of the collection and disposal of waste oils is relevant and requires quick and effective solutions. Today, there are several ways to dispose of waste. Among them it is worth highlighting:
On-site recovery. Harmful impurities are removed from the used oil, which makes it possible to reuse it. This approach allows you to extend the life of petroleum products, although it does not restore their operational parameters to their original values;
Sending to the refinery. In this case, the used oil is used as a raw material at the initial stage of obtaining other petroleum products;
Burning. This method of disposal involves the production of heat or energy to ensure various production processes. Water and other harmful impurities are removed from the oil beforehand. Unlike product reuse, oil can only be applied once during combustion;
Regeneration. This is the process of restoring the current parameters of used oils to initial values. It allows you to reuse the product for its intended purpose, and the theoretical resource of its work while striving for infinity.
OIL REGENERATION PLANT FROM GLOBECORE
Regeneration today can be considered the most preferable method of disposal of waste oils. Judge for yourselves: it is necessary to spend three times less energy on it than on the processing of crude oil into lubricating oil. In addition, the production of one liter of high-quality lubricating oil requires 67.2 liters of crude oil and only 1.6 liters of used oil.
CMM-R OIL REGENERATION UNIT
GlobeCore offers a wide selection of equipment for purification and regeneration of transformer, turbine, industrial, transmission and other types of oils. The main distinguishing feature of GlobeCore regeneration units is their multifunctionality and variability of execution. In particular, our company produces explosion-proof equipment, which provides for appropriate design measures to eliminate the possibility of ignition of the surrounding explosive materials during operation. Thanks to this, GlobeCore oil recovery units can be used at facilities such as nuclear and hydroelectric power stations, elevators, gas stations, oil refineries, etc.
CMM-R installation
The use of GlobeCore regeneration processes allows you to extend the life of petroleum oils and reuse them for their intended purpose. Plant at the same time saves money on the purchase of a fresh product and disposal of waste, the storage space required for storage of waste is also reduced almost to zero, and the likelihood of environmental pollution is nullified. Nowadays, GlobeCore technology is the best comprehensive solution to this problem!
INEY (Hoarfrost) 4M UNIT
GlobeCore also offers unique equipment such as Hoarfrost-4M, designed for evacuation and drying of solid insulation of power transformers, which are under voltage from 110 to 1150 kV.
